The Saint Andrew Foundation is 15 years old.

On July 28, 2026, an anniversary event dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the foundation was held at the “Happy House” of the Monk Andrew Charitable Foundation.

The event was attended by representatives of the Georgian Patriarchate, the government, the diplomatic corps, the business sector, and friends of the foundation.

In the first part of the event, the Foundation’s children will present a play based on Maurice Maeterlinck’s “The Blue Bird” to the guests, directed by Zaza Agladze. The play uses excerpts from the collection of childhood sketches of Father Andrew “The Hymn of Kindness.”

The second part of the event continued with an anniversary evening of urban songs and a gala dinner.

July 28 is the anniversary of the death of Elder Andria. The Elder Andria Foundation was officially established 15 years ago by Elder Andria’s will. Even before his tonsure as a monk, Elder Andria (Nugzar Milorava), together with his family members, cared for children suffering from cancer and their families. The fulfillment of Elder Andria’s will continues, and the Foundation has helped about 800 children to date.
